I dream bizarreness will appear more than I should. And magically, one evening while in the West Bank, a Boeing 707 and bumper cars rose up from a field of weeds on a windy cloudless night, and you begin to realize our imagination is actually real. The anthropocene just outside Nablus, pieces of many stranger things randomly tossed, everywhere. The twin-brothers who own this carnival, Atallah and Khamis al-Sairafi, said they imagined turning their art installation of extraordinariness into a restaurant. I hope they did…
