It was another step in a positive direction for our community after an incredibly challenging year. I truly believe these events would set an example of how we could move forward safely by being conscious, respectful and diligent together. It would in return improve our statewide morale, spark hope and calm the fears people have of the pandemic. The WSL and all the athletes have done what they can to ensure the safety of everyone by abiding by the strict regulations and protocols, staying on island during the holidays and being away from family, and taking countless tests to prevent any spread. I do understand how difficult the times are and how hard it is to make the right decision. Stay safe, happy and healthy everyone.
