A non-customer-contact employee at our Waiau location last worked on Monday, January 4th. The employee called-out sick for work the next day. They took a COVID-19 test on Wednesday, January 5th. By Zippy’s policy, the employee made sure to tell management that they were sent to take a test, and management responded by initiating proactive sanitation of both front and back of house that same night. Test results were received on Thursday and subsequently communicated to management. As an extra precaution, Zippy’s initiated a second sanitation of the facility on Thursday night. Our employee is recovering at home and we wish them a full and speedy recovery. Please keep Hawaii safe by wearing masks, washing hands, and avoiding gatherings. We’ve been at this for about 10 months now, and it’s easy for all of us to get complacent with precautions. We are enforcing our own standards with our own staff even harder at this point, and hope that the public doesn’t lose sight of the end goal - eradication of this pandemic.」1月9日 5時00分
