1980年代半ばに誕生しニューバランスを象徴する最もポピュラーなアイコンのひとつとなった「574」が、1994年に登場したクロストレーニングモデル「650」からインスパイアされたウェービーなデザインと出合い、デザインディテールを大胆に表現。アイコニックな574に現代的なブランディングを施してリミックスし、クラシックなスタイルを現代にシフトさせた。反射材を使った機能的なディテールやサドルなどのヘリテージなデザインをベースにしながら、細かく重なりの多いパーツやウェービーなパターンを取り入れ、アップデート。2020年登場の「327」から続くオーバーサイズのNロゴが、クラシックから現代へのシフトを表現。ソールは「574」をベースに現代的にリデザイン2層のミッドソールが特徴。ミッドソール下層は「574」にインスパイアされたシンプルなデザインで、上層は90年代の「650」を彷彿とさせるウェービーなデザインに仕上げている。

The 574 was born in the mid-1980s and one of the most popular icons to symbolize of New Balance. And it meets a wavy design inspired by the 1994 cross-training model 650, boldly designing details. Expression. The iconic 574 has been remixed with contemporary branding to shift the classic style to the modern era. Based on the heritage design such as functional details using reflective materials and saddles, it has been updated by incorporating fine and overlapping parts and wavy patterns. The oversized N logo that continues from the "327" that appeared in 2020 expresses the shift from classic to modern. The sole features a modern redesigned two-layer midsole based on the "574". The lower layer of the midsole has a simple design inspired by the "574", and the upper layer has a wavy design reminiscent of the "650" of the 90's.
