アマニ・ファンシーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アマニ・ファンシーInstagram)「After accepting the fact that Covid-19 limits one’s opportunistic possibilities, i.e. starting a new job that requires in-office action, relocating to cities of preference, etc., and realizing that 1) others are in the same boat and 2) others probably have it much worse, with not being able to move on in their career being the least of their worries and their and their loved ones’ health, their distance from families and loved ones, probably being at the top, I am grateful. And I have to say, today, on Monday, 11th January, “2021, you have started well, thank you for the blessings”: being at my fittest body shape at 50 kilos while eating abundantly and healthily; dismissing an initial business plan for something much bigger & scarier without knowing if success awaits but feeling excited to either fail at something new or thrive - both resulting in personal growth; kind of “beherrschen” a new skill in just 4 tries (Langlaufen); finally committing to a routine that includes tackling old things I’ve left on the shelf for too long and new things, a plan that frigin’ overwhelms me but I know will bring me happiness and health, which leads to the next point; learning to be kind and caring to myself when I don’t always manage to get on top of things and see those days as good days, non-judgmental days; having my family, god my beautiful family (including doggo) as a constant where despite ups and downs nothing has changed; my true friends, my probably, what, 5-6 true friends, you know who you are, who I’ve slightly neglected (sorry) but who are still there; my personal strengths, my ambition, creativity, and go-and-learn, make an imprint attitude which may have disappeared for a bit but is slowly emerging again, and finally, the health of everyone I love. I’ve probably missed some blessings but these are the ones that came to mind. 2021, thank you for the blessings, I am excited to give you my love, my heart, my discipline, my values. I’m excited to work with you. I urge you all to write down your blessings and realize how much you have to be thankful for. You are all so loved and so good.
