This is THE moment where this Officer got a peak of the Senate Floor and saw that it was not yet secure. See the man’s hand in the frame??
That’s how close that mob was to getting to the Senate when Senators were STILL IN THE ROOM.
To cause a distraction, the Officer then put his hands on the man, pissing off the whole crowd.
Then he took them, all by himself, on a wild goose chase through the Capitol where they chased this man and could’ve killed him.
PUT THIS MAN IN CHARGE.
Give him all of the medals.
