We are also told by industry ppl that we will burn bridges & to be fearful so we don’t destroy future opportunities for ourselves. Music will very quickly become a club for the rich if we don’t advocate for change. If you’re a musician and you’re able to, please speak out on behalf of your fellow musicians. We must advocate for fair pay and fair regulations. Like every industry should have. Let’s use our experience and knowledge to change this very flawed & biased system. Music is a real job and you no longer need to defend that. If there’s one thing (other than family & friends) that’s been missed in this pandemic it’s live music. Let that give you confidence.
