While I’ve come to learn to love my body, I didn’t start out that way. Society has told women from a young age that we need to be smaller but not too small, curvier but not too curvy, muscular but not too muscular. How EXHAUSTING! It takes A LOT of mental strength to get out of that mindset - to forget what you’ve been taught - to embrace who you are - to accept what you see in the mirror - and to celebrate the differences in body types.
