One was an exterior like a sports car; the second was a natural interior featuring wood. The architects came up with a plan that eliminates hallways and instead allows easy access for all family members to all rooms from a central living-dining-kitchen area. Behind the distinctive triangular window, a loft serves as the husband’s special den, furnished with a seat by Recaro. The name, which means “grove” in Spanish, reflects both the radical exterior design’s homage to Italian sports cars, and the interior’s warm atmosphere fashioned from wood.
