This female’s name is Schotia and she is feeding on a bushbuck carcass in the Sabi Sands of South Africa. Leopards are found in every major habitat on Earth, including true desert and the snowy tundra of east Russia. They feed on over a hundred different prey items and can go virtually undetected, even in major cities like Mumbai. They are up there with my favorite big cats!
