1/29(FRI)よりPUMA × Michael Lau RS-2K、RALPH SAMPSON MID 70sが登場。
“フィギュア界のゴッドファーザー”の異名を持つ中国人フィギュア・アーティストのマイケル・ラウは、1970年に香港で生まれ、1992年にHong Kong DesignFirst Instituteを卒業。卒業後の個展にて有名ラグジュアリーブランドの“Philippe Charriol”の運営する財団より評価をされ、一躍フィギュア・造形のアーティストとして注目される存在となる。今作はハンドライティング風のデザインや最終テストのために作られる"サンプル"をテーマに、試行錯誤を重ねるクリエイティブなプロセスから着想を得たインダストリアルなデザインに仕上がっている。

Michael Lau, a Chinese figure artist nicknamed "The Godfather of the Figure World," was born in Hong Kong in 1970 and graduated from the Hong Kong Design First Institute in 1992. After graduating, he was highly evaluated by the foundation run by the famous luxury brand "Philippe Charriol" at his solo exhibition, and suddenly became a figure and modeling artist. The theme of this work is a handwriting-style design and a "sample" created for the final test, and the result is an industrial design inspired by the creative process of trial and error.
