It was FA’d in 1985 by Sylviane Tavernier (our first woman guide in the @compagniedesguidesdechamonix) and Dominique Radigue. Everyone had already noticed it while waiting on the second-stage cable car platform on the Aiguille du Midi – and had dreamed of climbing it. The line, which is generally fit for purpose all winter long, consists of snow slopes interspersed with steep bulges covered in (sometimes thin) ice, which requires high technical proficiency. As with all these north-face climbs, the atmosphere is intense; and even after you have completed the gulley challenges and reached the Col du Plan, the final push up the Plan-Midi arête to reach the Aiguille du Midi cable car still demands a significant physical effort, and leaves an enduring memory… This very last sentence is why @lionelpernollet enjoyed sharing his mountaineering passion with clients so much up there this summer. #MilletRiseUp」1月27日 2時15分
