Colorism is something that is deeply rooted in the black community especially to black women. This episode we have a conversation with @i_kaiya who shared her personal experience with colorism and sexism in the music industry. It is important that we continue to discuss these issues within our community, discuss the lingering emotional and psychological effects, and stop perpetuating these 400 year old stereotypes that do nothing but inhibit us from highlighting our God-given beauty...especially in light of people like @iamdanileigh who are so recklessly and cavalier with their words and platform.
