The first reason is that the flexible tip gives both fine lines and a subtle thick downstroke. The second reason is it's waterproof and I can add watercolor on top.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I also used this pen with some of the details on the flowers in addition to the amazing MICRON pens.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ The range of sizes in MICRON pens makes them my go-to for every illustration I work on.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ When I am done with the inking I always struggle with leaving it black and white or adding color. I lean more on black and white and bright and clean but sometimes I like a little color. For these flowers, I went with an unfinished look using SAKURA KOI Watercolors.
