It did getting me thinking though as I start my packing to Canada....moms pack it all, our bags, kids bags, etc bags and dads just worry about their bags. And as I found myself thinking wow that must be nice, I then realized he’s in a lose lose. If he packed the kids stuff I would say, “where is this”, “why isn’t this in there”. So I think just accepting the roles is best in these moments. And like we talked about in a podcast episode, I would forget every electronic so that’s his role. Make sure all kids stuff is charged and packed which then got me thinking about roles. I think there is a healthy balance of knowing the roles BUT what I think a women really needs (sorry guys I know u need this too but we need it more..😂) is “hey is there anything I can do to help you”.
