Lore and his sister Vinnie (pictured here) were part of a Fur farm rescue our center accomplished this summer. We were called upon to save 30 fur farm foxes & had only a few weeks to find placement, transport & arrange the rescue. To say it was stressful is a huge understatement- it burned my soul with fear that we wouldn’t be successful... the consequences of failure caused creating panic within my being.... I fought day and night to ensure we had the right placements, had a way to transport the babies to their new home, & had the right team together to be successful! Let me tell you, our team was passionately relentless in our conviction to save these babies.... we encountered soooooo many obstacles and challenges along the way and yet when our rescue coordinator @foxesandfriends came back from the farm w/ 30 precious souls.... the overwhelming emotions flooded us all.... the horror in these babies souls were screaming through their eyes, the souls of those left behind that the “farmer” didn’t give us screaming into our hearts, and the relief that these 30 babies will find love and comfort and peace exploded our hearts.... . We had one 4 foxes under a year in the group, Vinnie and Lore siblings - Vinnie and Lore both with missing tails... and Vinnie also with a missing ear... We placed Vinnie with us and Lore with Jessika. Lore was watched the entire transport, because there was some suspicion he might have had a seizure.... @mperson321 (in charge of our transport) sat with him and a few others we had some concerns about. Each person committed passionately to their lives- each of us with an intense drive and desire to save every single life, because we believe their souls matter in this world. . While all of the babies from this rescue have found love and are thriving, the loss of baby Lore is devastating for all of us on this team. Jessika’s love for him and the life she gave him fills our hearts with joy! We know he passed away in the loving arms of a family who adored him. RIP baby Lore.」1月30日 1時13分
