The name and work of Karl Lagerfeld are known the world over, but few people were as familiar with the man behind the famous glasses as Sébastien Jondeau (@bentoub), the designer’s personal assistant, who has written a book, Ça va, cher Karl? (Flammarion) with the French journalist Virginie Mouzat (@virginiemouzat). It charts the course of Jondeau’s life from the suburbs of Paris, and the boxing ring, to the jet set. What does he want people to take away from the book? To show “that everything is possible.”
