Today's #CanadaSpotlight is on natural landmarks in Canada! ⠀
⠀
Canada is full of diverse landscapes of mountains, waterfalls and lakes, with spectacular views in every province and territory. Here are a few of our favourite natural landmarks across the country:⠀
⠀
🏔 Mount Robson, British Columbia - at 12,972ft/3954m, Mount Robson is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and the second highest in British Columbia. ⠀
💛 Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick - located in the Bay of Fundy, the Hopewell Rocks have been shaped by centuries of tides pounding against the rocks to create these distinctive and unique formations.⠀
💦 Niagara Falls, Ontario - the world-famous Niagara Falls is made up of three separate waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls (the largest of the three), American falls and Bridal Veil Falls.⠀
💚 Lake Louise, Alberta - arguably Banff National Park’s most well-known lake, Lake Louise gets it’s breathtaking turquoise colour from the rock flour that is swept down by meltwater from glaciers.⠀
☀️ Carcross Desert, Yukon - one of Canada’s more unusual landmarks is the world’s smallest desert, Carcross Desert. Covering 260 hectares, this unique landscape was formed by an ancient glacial lake. ⠀
