She did all of this from her recovery bed post brain surgery. Yeah...post brain surgery. Alexis is just that kind of special. She has been for as long as I’ve known her and I’ve know her a very very long time! She was the girl who came to sit with me in the cafeteria during the lonely days of 8th grade when the other girls all ostracized me. She was the girl that came to visit me in the Bahamas on the set of My Father the Hero, my first big movie opportunity, and eased my nerves with laughter and love. Like Tully says “She was even kind at 14? And no one is kind at 14” Thank you sexy Lexy! What an incredible gift you gave me to kick off this show I am so passionate about and proud of! Thank you to my girls, the sacred six, for your unwavering love and support. You are my soul sisters and I thank the heavens every day for you! The memory of this night will be what I call forth when anxiety, fear, frustration or any other negative human emotion starts to crowd in. I will close my eyes and listen for the laughter.
