Vogue Italiaさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Vogue ItaliaInstagram)「“In this moment of uncertainty, we must create something that remains, that isn’t destined to vanish into the ether”. Spoken by Francesco Ragazzi (@other__matters) – founder of @PalmAngels, this seems more than a simple declaration of intent. It's a promise for the future. In an increasingly suspended, fluid time, virtual by necessity, Ragazzi has chosen to present the new collection through a tangible object: a book, entitled “Palm Angels”, published by Rizzoli New York in a limited edition, to “keep on the bedside table, to remind us of what we have experienced. I'm a romantic, and I felt the need to go back to something physical to build a new foundation. The lockdowns have made us give up so many emotions, overwhelming us all with the fakery of the digital sphere. If the first book was a starting point, this one is meant to be another milestone in Palm's history, both destination and new departure.” Palm Angels SS 2021 takes form on the printed page like a story told by multiple voices: the campaign shot by @DavidSimsofficial, with styling by #KarlTempler, alternates with the work of emerging photographers @MarksRosie and @LeaColombo, the artwork of 86-year-old #EnzoRagazzini, the abstract paintings of @FriedrichKunath and @Thrush_Holmes, the works of graphic designer @Javier_Jaen and visual artist @JaviCalleja. A heterogeneous community that reflects the anarchic spirit of Francesco Ragazzi, and the “creative chaos” from which the brand sprang in 2015.
