They have been married for over 60 years ❤️ Stanley, 83 moved into a care home in September 2019 after his dementia got worse and Mavis, 81 visited him regularly until February last year when coronavirus spread through our country and restrictions were put into place that ripped the couple apart for a whole year 🥺 Fast forward a year and Mavis has moved into the care home with Stanley and they are reunited. The lovely staff at their care home treated them to a romantic, candlelit meal to celebrate their reunion and they’re both over the moon to be back together 💘 There is love, light and hope all around us... even if it feels like there isn’t at times. You just have to know where to look 😍 Thankyou Stanley and Mavis, for making my week with these pictures...
