Photo by @Joel Sartore / A very mysterious insect has become the 11,000th species to board the Photo Ark. It’s the long-toothed dart moth, Dichagyris longidens, and this is likely the first time it's been photographed alive! Described in scientific literature in 1890, this animal has been so seldom seen that virtually nothing is known about it.
