It’s a reminder that I want to come back to and sit with. You can find the entirety of @_lisaolivera words on her account but here is a snippet that stirred my heart in leaps and bounds: . . “I’m turning my gaze inward more. Listening to what is true for me before scrolling to make sure my truth matches what everyone else is saying. Asking myself what I want before seeing if it’s similar to what everyone else wants. Letting slowness be regular instead of earned. Moving further away from feeling contained by an app. Noticing the way the breeze pushes the longer branches around as if they, too, are choosing to just move as they are meant to. Not tethering guilt to goodness or judgment to just being. . I’m practicing the art of throwing away what is no longer mine. The art of knowing my own integrity and knowing that’s enough... The art of owning my introversion and no longer associating quietness with smallness. The art of being with what is until what is naturally moves on and makes room for the next what is to arrive... . I’m feeling alive. I am so many things. I am not my roles or what I do or what I share. I cannot fit into a box or a niche... . I am releasing the pressure to make my life or myself neat and tidy and consumable. I am inching closer towards letting my full self be wherever I am, in whatever I do. I am holding what others want me to be in an open palm, feeling when it touches me but no longer clinging to it as if it is mine. . I am practicing the art of living into my own aliveness in all the ways I am meant to, and feeling awed as I witness others learning to do the same, and letting it be messy and imperfect, and feeling grateful for the opportunity to feel any of this at all.” -Lisa Olivera @_lisaolivera . . I’ve changed a lot in how I connect & spend my time here, what I share & other areas in the last couple of years especially. I have more thoughts but have not felt inclined to share them just yet, however these words by @_lisaolivera touch upon it so beautifully.」2月10日 4時14分 - catharinemisook
