⁣In 1965, Juggy Murray, owner of Sue Records, got Shane booked on WLAC-TV's "Soul Train," based in Nashville, TN. She performed Rufus Thomas' "Walkin' The Dog" complete in drag and is the only known live footage of her that has surfaced. (She had been offered to perform on the Ed Sullivan Show but naturally declined as they insisted she perform as a male. F*** 'em! ✊)⁠
