We are honoured to present this remarkable library on 23 April during Classic Week in New York.⠀ .⠀ Mr. Rosenberg, the son of influential French art dealer Paul Rosenberg (represented artists included Matisse, Picasso, and Braque), took over his father's New York art gallery in 1957 and was known for his intrinsic love of books.⠀ .⠀ When he was just 14 years old, family friend Pablo Picasso designed a woodcut bookplate showing an open window and view of the sea.
