She is all sassy and loud, screaming at everyone and everything she meets! When our trainer, Melissa, first met her, she came in 100 mph running around the room, hugging the walls while circling her, screaming and yelling. Then she came running up and bit her boot.... while screaming. Melissa being an experienced trainer both in exotics and dogs, was well prepared to handle and bring some calm to the situation. Likely 99.9999% of people would do the wrong thing and cause the situation to worsen. . Of course, Libby, relies on her instincts to survive. While she is captive bred and likely her ancestors all came from years of being selectively bred in fur farms and possibly even wild caught, she is not domesticated for friendliness towards humans. Corn can be domesticated, but it doesn’t make corn like people more.... it means it has been selectively bred for a trait humans desired. For foxes bred in fur farms, they are bred for coat quality and color. This does not make them friendly around people, good pets, or even good Ambassadors animals. . We need to put an end to fur farming. Pet fox breeders are often time also fur farmers. If not, the majority have gotten their breeding pairs from fur farmers, supporting their work. Purchasing foxes from fur farmers supports fur farming regardless of how you want to twist it. Supporting celebrities who wear fur suppers fur farming. Supporting stores that sell real@fur, supports fur farming. This needs to be a hard line. There are plenty of animals facing extinction that could benefit from conservation efforts... ending fur farming and the fur for fashion allows us to focus our attention on other animals facing a dire future.
