Cherishing this moment because Alf has been in a lot of discomfort today, which has left me in tears too. Seeing him cry is emotional, especially when I can't seem to fix the problem.
According to the Wonder Years app he's hit his first Leap, which is basically a step in their mental development that leaves them a bit unsettled. That makes total sense, but mummy wishes she could make it better.

On top of that I'm just feeling a bit out of sorts today, as I've discussed in stories. My skin is SO dry (apparently breastfeeding related?), Yy hair feels gross since switching shampoos, I miss my family and friends. I think it's normal for us to feel these things, I mean it would be weird if we were actually ENJOYING lockdown, throw hormones and an upset baby into that mix too... 🤯

But I wanted to save THIS moment right here. He loves bathtime, so I gave him a little bath and popped him in his Snoo and he seems calm and content. Which means happy mummy. I just love him so much, I want to make everything better. It's hard not to feel like a failure if I can't.
