someone forgot to take the pool cover off before our winter storm 🙋‍♀️ i don’t own a snow shovel, but i had a trusty garden spade. 2 1/2 hours (and a phenomenal workout) later - got it done! that ice was heavy. can’t get it open, that’s for sure - it’s 13° here, the sides are frozen and not going anywhere. but at least i got all that weight off of it 🏋🏼 so satisfying to nourish after all that with a (nearly) homegrown meal! arugula & baby kale salad dressed wifh olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, pumpkin seeds and @violife_foods parmesan; sautéed brussels greens and baby sprouts with a @beyondmeat sausage and some date slivers; and a meyer lemon wedge from my own little potted tree (safely inside for the winter). ❄️ how are you enjoying this snowy weather, if you’re part of this widespread winter chill? #southernsnow #nashvilletn
