You’ll need :⁠
Elbow pasta, I used about a box and a half⁠
Cheddar cheese⁠
Sharp cheddar // mild cheddar is what I used ( 2 bags one of each )⁠
half a block velveeta cheese⁠
Green onion⁠
Cayenne pepper 2tbs⁠
Pepper 2tbs⁠

Green onion for color/presentation⁠
& a cast iron skillet⁠

First, boil a pot of water and cook your noodles..⁠
while it’s cooking we’re gonna make our sauce.. add some butter and flower to the pan ( 1/4 cup each) and create a rue⁠
It’ll become a paste.⁠
Add about 2 cups of milk along with some pepper and salt⁠

When your milk starts to simmer you can add your cheese.. I use about 1/2 of a block velveeta cheese I find that velveeta melts a lot better & adds that creamy texture to your sauce ( it’s also more affordable to buy⁠
Half of my shredded sharp and mild cheddar cheese⁠

Stir til smooth ( may need to whisk ) add in your garlic seasoning and cayenne pepper.. I tend to use about 2tbs each⁠

Once your noodles are cooked add them to your sauce and mix⁠
-⁠
When mixed top the pan with more cheese ( the other 2 halves ), and sliced green onion.. cook til the top layer of cheese goldens ( about 20 min on 425 for me )⁠
