That’s right: our authentic fake fast food golden calf is gonna set up shop in a section of FLORIDA not normally known for themed entertainment! But the real upside is that this trip will afford me the first opportunity to see my Mom in many months (@donsgirlgrace will cut the ribbon on opening day)! Very crazy to think that what was once a fictional eatery has now been made flesh IRL in L.A., Red Bank, Chicago, Toronto, Minneapolis, and Phoenix, with Vancouver and Florida to follow! I remember getting a note that all the talk about the Internet and online culture was too “inside” for a mainstream audience. Little did we know the world would more closely resemble this scene today than it did when we actually shot it. Back then, it was considered comedy to show a scene of some crackpot spewing vitriol online. Nowadays, it’s a daily drama.
