In the past I was so easily defensive, angry, and ready to say why criticizing my choices was wrong. The more I worked on myself the more obvious it was that my reaction was because I wasn’t okay or totally understanding my choices. When I sat with myself and learned to appreciate my life, the less other people’s opinions mattered or affected me. Yes there are still times where I get swept up in emotions but it’s fewer and farther between.
