We started Gone to the Dogs because we wanted to create something fun and exciting together – something that we could not only share with the community, but also impactful in many ways. We were inspired by our dogs Miles and Ollie and decided to create an ethical and fun line of dog products. We wanted to do it right and do it well, by making ‘dog goods that do good.’ We decided we wanted to partner with women makers in New York and around the globe – we’re working with marginalized women in NYC as well as artisans in Nepal, Peru, and Cambodia. We’ve reduced our carbon footprint by using earth-friendly, reclaimed and upcycled materials. We’re proud to be a BIPOC, women-owned, social enterprise. Our mission is to provide job opportunities and fair and stable incomes to artisans, namely marginalized women. It's been tough starting a business during COVID – we've been doing outdoor markets up until recently when it got too cold. But the dog community has been so supportive. It makes us super hopeful and optimistic for what the future has in store for us.” To check out and shop @gonetothedogs.co, head to the link in bio! #AllInNYC #NYCSTRONG」2月20日 6時21分 - thedogist
