This week, Australia observed the one-year anniversary of the horrific murders of Hannah Clarke, and her three children, Laianah, Aaliyah and Trey. While on a school run in Brisbane, Hannah was set alight by her estranged husband and, with one final, incredible act of strength, she told police exactly what he had done. But 12 months since their deaths, coercive control still isn’t classified as a crime in Australia.
