Patrice was one of the greatest stand up you would ever see live. If you saw him you know and if you didn’t watch this and understand. I started my career in Boston with Patrice and he made an impression on me that filtered into my comedy and my life. I love and miss him. He made me laugh, made me think and sometimes made me crazy when he was right and I was wrong and he was gonna prove it to me 5 more times. I will post a story today telling you about the time I helped Patrice audition for The Green Mile so watch out for that. Here is a pic of P when he was out in LA with me. We would hang out and play video games together. Mortal Combat is what I think this was because that’s how I sat when I mashed buttons to kick my opponent to total destruction. I came up with some of the best comedians of today and Patrice was always.. undoubtedly one of the best people I would ever share a stage with. We brought the best out of each other and I think that was true in life. We talked our moms, our girlfriends and of course comedy. Hours and hours of insight that I am so pleased to have filmed much of it. A little was in the doc too.
