Today, Tiffany Grant runs six businesses with her husband that bring in $10,000 each month, total.
But her road to entrepreneurship took a lot of twists and turns.
When she was in college, studying business administration and management, Grant wanted to get a good corporate job. Once she graduated she landed an entry-level job as a receptionist, but within a year it became clear that even though she was good at admin work, she wanted a role that was more self-directed. That was one of Grant’s first inklings that she eventually wanted to be her own boss.
In 2017, she started her financial education and coaching service Money Talk With Tiff as a side hustle. Grant has made some missteps along the way, but says they’ve helped her make the businesses stronger.
