アシュリー・ハートさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アシュリー・ハートInstagram)「I landed back in LA, and although the beach and sunshine feels so good, I am feeling borderline overwhelmed with changing gears. I am coming from a space of contemplative thoughts, moving slow, hibernating in a snow storm, and cooking warm comfort food, to being around so many people, tending to work commitments, and attending activities and events. The contrast is so distinct which is part of what can make our experiences so rich, however, I find if I don’t stay on top of my self practice which keeps me balanced, this rich experience can snowball into anxiety and overwhelm. I'm so aware of cycles lately: our internal ones, the seasons of nature, this need for hibernation and then desire to come back out into action, to see and to be seen. They are happening all the time within everyone and everything. I used to fight against the cycles and felt guilt for not being able to show up for other people, my social channels, my physical activity or just the things that, during other cycles, were so exciting. Now I listen. I'm learning to honor and understand my body, these cycles, and these natural systems that exist for a reason. They all fuel and feed each other. When we move with them, true ease, flow, and miracles come. I'm realizing more than ever the importance of having a structure and a committed practice that centers me and allows me to check in. It helps to know where I am at, what is required of me, and how to best move between these constantly changing seasons with ease. This week my flight back to LA played a part in jolting me into shifting gears. To stay grounded I leaned on my self practices. I jumped in the ocean for a refresh to cleanse and align my system which always helps me reset. I also decided to recommit to doing yoga daily, along with my meditation practice. This is a hard one when life feels so busy, but I find these practices make my actions more aligned and purposeful which makes me more efficient, so time is not an issue. I’m also doing a reset cleanse from @owlvenice to support myself in this gear shift. Food is one of the most powerful ways to align with any kind of change seasonally, or in our lives.
