I picked up a camera a few short years ago and I've been exploring ever since.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Luckily, I've been able to live in four different provinces in Western Canada, but the prairies will always be my home. I have spent countless hours chasing sunsets, storms and stories out here, and it's given me growth as an artist I never thought I'd be able to reach. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Most of the time when I tell people I live in Saskatchewan, they give me the "Oh, I'm sorry!" treatment - and that's fine with me. I'm not sorry about it at all! In fact, I'd prefer to keep this place a secret for as long as possible. From town to country, there is so much to connect with that it's hard to explain. It presents a challenge every single time I head out to shoot, and I fall more in love each time I do. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ My absolute favourite thing about being a creator in this province is the changing of seasons. I can head to the same spot a day apart and have an entirely different scene in front of me. I've shot in -40 and +40. I've stood in the middle of dust storms and downpours, beneath more stars and colours than anywhere. I've seen wild horses, endless dirt roads and sunsets that only your own eyes can properly capture. Everything you could want is right here in your backyard if you're willing to explore it.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I've seen almost every part of this beautiful, wild and captivating country, and I'm grateful to call the prairies my home.
