I came in lower than what I was before I got pregnant, but my body is completely different. This is a reminder that the number on the scale doesn’t mean anything. For years I used to focus on that number and it’s why I stopped weighing myself because it was so unhealthy for me. I was always nervous to get pregnant and be weighed at every OB appointment, but my thought process changed. I was excited to gain weight. It meant my body was healthy and growing for Arkie 🥺 Postpartum can be rough, but it keeps reminding me how amazing our bodies are. And it reminds me that we are far more than any number on a scale.
