"Adriana Varejão: Interiors" was presented at Gagosian, Beverly Hills, in 2017 as a collateral exhibition to the Getty’s triennial initiative "Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA," which focused that year on Latin American and Latino art. On this occasion, Brazilian cultural historian and curator Lilia Moritz Schwarcz explores the complex cultural themes in Varejão’s oeuvre.
