Waihilau Falls is the thirteenth highest waterfall in the world, and the third in the state. It is situated in the Waimanu Valley in Hawaii. It peaks at 2,600 feet (790 metres)!
Its name comes from wai hī lau which means "many trickling waters" since during heavy rains the stream splits into many smaller streams overflowing the cliff.
