Sometimes we hear so much about GRACE that we forget what God’s perfect JUSTICE demanded. My sin couldn’t just be forgotten - ignored. Letting a guilty person go free is not justice. In the most incredible intersection of love, justice, and grace, Jesus took my place. The penalty of my sin was paid, Jesus was punished instead of me, and I went free.
