-Hold the stretch for 30-45 seconds
-For strength moves shoot for 10-12 reps

Often times a weak core creates tight hip flexors. Having tight hip flexors shortens them which pulls the hips forward and then creates an anterior tilt of the hips. As the hips tilt the back is thrown out of line with a curve in the lower back and BAM ... you have back pain!

Simply put: weak core links to tight hip flexors which cause hips to tilt forward =
low back pain.
