Serengeti Traffic Jam—Traveling the dusty roads of the northern Tanzanian Serengeti, this lumbering giant decided to park in the middle of the road. We stopped our land rover well short of the giraffe, so not to spook it. After a few photos and 10 minutes of waiting, we finally had to detour around it. Out the back window, I watched through our dust wake as we continued our journey, the giraffe fading from sight, still parked in the middle of the road...must have been really good spot!!
