🤝 Organisée à l’occasion du bicentenaire de la Révolution grecque de 1821, l’exposition « Paris – Athènes. Naissance de la Grèce moderne 1675 ‐ 1919 » souhaite mettre en valeur les liens unissant la Grèce et la culture européenne, en suivant notamment le fil des relations entre Paris et Athènes.

🤝 In 2021, Greece is celebrating the bicentenary of its independence; it was also 200 years ago, in 1821, that the Venus de Milo first entered the Louvre’s collections. The exhibition "Paris - Athens. The birth of modern Greece, 1675-1919"! traces the cultural, diplomatic and artistic ties between Greece and France in the 19th century and shows how the rediscovery of Greek antiquity changed the European view of Greece.
