@andyjpizza’s #peptober #5 prompt is “the most interesting part of your process.” I actually don’t really know what’s interesting about my process other than I don’t really have one. I haven’t really found a singular way of doing things.

If I had to pick something I do that often results in my more meaningful pieces it would be writing in my notes app. I have hundreds of notes, some of it filled with cannabis inspired nonsense but I can usually find a sliver of something interesting to build upon.

Since that’s a little boring to show I figured I’d show one of the ways I like to sketch when I’m not drawing in procreate on the iPad. Here I’m using a parallel calligraphy pen on sumi ink paper. I like how the paper soaks the ink up so fast that I don’t have time to stop and think. I have to keep moving, never stop. ✌️ 💗 🌏
