Jesus calls you his dearly beloved which simply means to be with him. He puts no pressure on you and lifts the heavy weights off your shoulders. Just like Mary sitting at his feet nothing mattered more than the words he spoke to her. She chose him over worrying and the cares of life. Resting is choosing to snuggle instead of strive. Jesus finished all the work at the cross, defeated death, and then rose… a complete victory! Jesus + nothing = everything.
