The Paralympic Winter Games is one of the hugest sport’s celebration of true human values and hope to make life of every Paralympic athlete and the world better. The last Ukrainian Olympians had turned back home on February 23rd and already next early morning Russia launched the missile attack on Ukrainian cities escalating a full-scale military invasion from northern, southern and east boarders of Ukraine simultaneously. The part of the Russian military forces had entered the territory of Ukraine from Belarus and Belarus provided its borders for missiles attacks violating all the international legislation of cross boarders and conflicts’ regulation guidelines. THIS WAR IS STILL ON GOING TODAY!!! …Ukrainian Olympians and Paralympians are forced to protect their homeland and their families, civilians helping civilians to overcome the war disaster… Military strikes are inflicted on the civilian population, orphanages, kindergartens and hospitals, civil life-supporting infrastructure of the living districts of cities and villages of Ukraine. This is a clear violation of the Olympic Truce, the Olympic Charter and foremost the Olympic and human values. Aggressor countries should not have any right to participate in sports events. Sport is a tool for peace. WE UKRAINIAN ATHLETES ASK to suspend immediately the Russian and Belarusian National Olympic Committees and Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from the participation in the XIII Paralympic Winter Games Beijing-2022.
