I had danced with him about 20 years ago in Tokyo. We danced pas de deux from "Don Quixote”and had only one rehearsal before the performance. I was very nervous. But he was brilliant. Tall and handsome and had individuality as a dancer. He was still young and shy that time, didn’t talk so much but I remembered about him very well. I am very sad. And pray that war is over. War is destroying everything. I was taught from many great Russian teachers, knew many dancers who came from Ukraine, danced with many Russian dancers. I retired from ballerina’s activity 12 years ago. But now feeling that my memories of great dancing experiences are destroying by war too. My deepest sympathies to Artem .
