Not quite sure how to return to this space, but here I am. This past weekend marked six months since Nick died. Thank you for giving me time to process the most unimaginable pain. I know many of you have been through this or something similar and I genuinely appreciate your willingness to share those experiences. I’m also very grateful to all of you who have sent messages just checking in. I’ve never felt such an outpouring of love.

They say grief isn’t linear, so I’m not here to offer a bunch of advice but there’s one thing I’ve learned through this that I’d like to share… when you lose someone who takes a huge part of you with them when they go, take the time you need. You can’t bank on how fast or slow anyone else seems to “get back to life” because it truly doesn’t matter. Could take months, could take forever. Both are okay. I know I’ll spend my life trying to find my brother again. I’m not supposed to be without him. And while I look forward to reuniting one day, I’m here now and I will make the most of this time so when I do find him I’ll have wild stories to tell that can compete with his. 🏁4️⃣3️⃣🤍
