SEA, I am sure over the years you have read various stories about my family and all the challenges we faced.

We are not a perfect family, so sometimes we disagree on certain topics. Sometimes we argue. Sometimes we hurt each other, because of what we say or do.

Last year, our mother sadly passed way. Despite the challenges my mom and I had; I could not contain my sorrow. I had friends and fans from around the world reaching out with thoughts/prayers. But at this very moment family bond surpassed all conflicts. We put everything aside and came together as a family, to honour our mother. We mourned together, but we also celebrated her life and achievements. We prayed for her peaceful rest.

There is something about losing a mother that is permanent and inexpressible- a wound that will never quite heal. But it hurts less when you go through it as a family.

We are still not a perfect family, but we have reconnected and it’s work in progress. Conflict is inevitable but combat is optional. We have decided to suppress combat…and we know ultimately blood is thicker than water.
